GOLD FILLED

What does 'gold filled' mean?

Gold filled wire is created by fusing a layer of gold onto a base metal.

Unlike gold plating, gold filled wire has a significantly thicker layer of gold coating, which must be at least 5% of the total weight. This ensures a beautiful long-lasting, quality finish that will withstand the test of time.
